Privacy notice
What Sumacley keeps about you, why we keep it, and how to ask about it.
Last updated
The short version
- Calculating your Life Path doesn't save your birth date on our server. Your browser tab remembers your last birth date and result until you close it.
- If you ask for your full chart, we keep your name, birth date and email to build your private page and send your link.
- We never sell your birth details. Email us any time to see or delete them.
When you calculate your Life Path
Your birth date goes to our server, which works out your number and sends it back. Our server doesn't save the birth date. Your own browser tab remembers your last birth date and its result until you close the tab, so reloading the page keeps your number. We keep two small things:
- Internet address
- The address your device uses to reach us (your IP address), with the date, so each address gets one free calculation a day.
- Ad click id
- A code Google Ads adds to the link when you arrive from an ad. It tells us which ad brought you.
When you ask for your full chart
Asking for your full chart is optional. If you do, we keep these details and create a sign-in account for your email, with no password:
- Full birth name
- Expression, Soul Urge and Personality come from its letters.
- Birth date
- Life Path, Birthday and Personal Year come from it, so you aren't asked again.
- Email address
- To send your sign-in link and to keep one chart per address.
- Life Path number
- The number you saw on the calculator, so your chart starts from the same answer.
- Where you came from
- Which version of the page you saw, the ad campaign and the ad click id, so we can tell which ads and wording help people.
On your private page
We store your six numbers and the plain-English explanation of each, so every visit shows the same chart. It opens only through a one-time sign-in link sent to your email, so keep that link to yourself.
The explanations are written by an AI model, Claude, made by Anthropic. It receives only the six numbers and their names. It never sees your name, birth date or email.
Emails we send
We email you only about your chart, starting with your one-time sign-in link. No newsletters. If a link has expired, ask for a new one.
Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog to count visits and see which steps people take, such as calculating a number or asking for a chart. These records include the Life Path number shown. Once you ask for your full chart, they're linked to your email.
Your browser keeps a few small files for us. One keeps you signed in. One holds the ad click id for up to 90 days. PostHog keeps an anonymous id, so repeat visits count once.

How long we keep it

Asking about your details
Email hello@sumacley.com from the address you used, and say what you'd like: a copy of what we keep, a correction, or deletion. We'll reply from that address.
Who Sumacley is for
Sumacley is for adults, 18 and over. We don't knowingly keep details about anyone younger. If you think a child has sent us theirs, email us and we'll delete them.

If we change what we keep or why, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
